I completely agree with the late, great Ms. Radner. As I write this, our dog - a rescued miniature schnauzer pup - sleeps quietly at my feet. This morning, he sauntered into the room as our 7 year old son was getting dressed. The little man sighed happily, patted the dog, kissed his head and whispered into his ear, “I like waking up to you.”
My heart nearly melted.
